On one occasion I allowed it to attempt to complete the communicating process for 7 hours. The progress indicator rapidly proceeds to 40% (approximately) and then hangs-up. ![]() The problem occurs during the communicating The application opens, finds the printer, and then begins to communicate with my printer. ‘HP Print and Scan Doctor’ does not work properly on either one of my desktop PCs. Was answered but my problem still exists. Microsoft says that the application is compatible with Windows 10 HP tells me that ‘HP Print and Scan Doctor’ is compatible with Windows 10 therefore it must be compatible. The question that I posted has been answered. They do not offer the Printer Drivers separately, unless if I go to a third-party, but in my organization, and I'm sure most, would advise against that for reasons such as malware. ![]() Is the application (HP Print and Scan Doctor version 4.9) compatible with Windows 10 home? I had to download HP Smart through the Microsoft Store (gross) and which then prompted me to sign into Microsoft, which I did not have to do, but was still annoying. ![]()
